One kilometer at a time for

Willen Hospice and Sarcoma UK

What are we doing?

In April 2026, we’re planning a two-week cycling trip from Milton Keynes to Rome, riding 120-150km each day.

To raise funds for our cause, we’ll be fundraising through various methods, including bake sales, online donations, and an Auction Night later in 2025. Our goal was to raise £5000, since we have already achieved this due to phenomenal support we have upped our goal to £10,000, which will be split evenly between the two charities we’re supporting.

Why it matters?

A man in a gray shirt and maroon cap riding a blue mobility scooter on a gravel path in a park, with a brown dog sitting nearby on the grass, surrounded by trees and greenery.

This is Ethan, he is a 26-year-old man who has been battling Ewings Sarcoma for the past three years. He’s had multiple rounds of treatment and surgeries aimed at curing him, but unfortunately the cancer has always come back. This has significantly affected his mobility and now the care he receives is palliative.

Willen Hospice need to raise £8.7million each year to provide their services free of charge to those in need.

Sarcoma UK is the only UK charity dedicated exclusively to all types of sarcoma, with most funds spent on research and support services.

All donations will be split evenly between Willen Hospice and Sarcoma UK, supporting both compassionate end-of-life care and vital cancer research.
